Every day on every product people ask for this. The reason many developers do this is that it leads to more sales and upgrades. So it's not going to change.

Also developers do this so they can ship the product with a skeleton online help file - with the intention and solemn belief that they will write a really good help file when they have loads of time after shipping (ie. This NEVER happens).
